A Bit About Me The Founder.
My name is Larry Zimmerman. You very likely don’t know me and there is no reason you should know me. I’m no Ivy League graduate or famous business consultant.
For the past 9 years I have operated 2 OPE equipment dealerships, and have grappled with the same issues, and problems that every OPE dealer in USA faces. Inventory not moving, Inventory not available, Trade-in Inventory build up, Brand Dealer Programs switching things up, Minimum Advertising Price threats, to name a few.
So I brainstormed a solution. It was the concept of the OPE DEALER HUB APP. I realized that distributors and brands have deep pockets that ensure that the program/partnerships they make with dealers are always tilted in favor of the brand/distributors. Even though the equipment dealer is one of the, if not the most important links in the distribution chain. It is time for the Dealers To Help Themselves!

What Does OPE DEALER HUB APP Do?
- Dealer Hub is a connector platform open to DEALERS ONLY. It connects dealers with machines, machines with dealers, and dealers with each other. We designed the Wholesale Marketplace as a revolutionary way for OPE dealers to list, buy and sell their inventory to another dealer at a wholesale price, in a Closed Loop system, while still marketing their inventory to their customers at a retail price. Market your trade-ins quick to improve Cash-Flow and find the used equipment your customers want, when they want.
- Dealer Hub is an app designed to help the dealer make more consistent money. We all have inventory that just for whatever reason this year isn’t selling, and the inventory that is selling is on back-order from the Brand! This problem is solved with Dealer Hub’s unique Brand Rooms. A Brand Room is locked section of Dealer Hub only open to dealers of that particular brand. It consists of a Brand Marketplace for listing New Equipment you need to move, and a Brand Forum where you can ask questions and interact with other dealers of your brands. We currently have a Brand Room for most of the popular whole-good brands in the OPE industry
- Dealer Hub builds connections and opportunities. The Dealer Forums are every equipment dealers dream. Sales people talking numbers, managers getting advice, marketers talk marketing, mechanics talking mechanic talk, and just random threads of normal people stuff… after all a forum exists for all other spaces why not ours! If you’d prefer less public discourse, use the Direct Message function to message any user in an private chat.
- Dealer Hub also has a News Feed for industry related news and interesting info, current market trends, and more all in short easy to read articles for on the Go People. I am surprised at how often I would miss a product launch of a brand I didn’t sell or a major news release of a Brand merger, because of the lack of a streamlined on point news source.
- Dealer Hub also has a Training Module. At the time of launch there will not be much available on this module, however I plan to expand this section of Dealer Hub app over the next year to include all the training I always wanted for my employees and for myself. There will be industry related training for Sales, Service, and Management all from Industry seasoned professionals. Dealer Hub is completely Cloud Based and will be available in any pc/tablet/laptop web browser or as a mobile app for your phone or smaller devices.
